Twig & Trove Interiors
Highland Park Interior Design
Curated Home library and home office with blue built-in bookcases, a plaid upholstered chair, and an antique wood desk, designed by Kimberly Knight of Twig and Trove Interiors

Twig & Trove Interiors works with homeowners throughout Highland Park and the surrounding Park Cities, along with nearby Dallas neighborhoods including University Park and Preston Hollow. Principal Designer Kimberly Knight brings a collected, timeless point of view to each home, layering natural elements, rich texture, and a mix of antique and contemporary pieces into interiors that feel personal rather than staged.

Highland Park's older streets hold some of Dallas's most considered architecture, from traditional estates to newer homes designed in conversation with that history. Twig & Trove works alongside the architects and builders shaping these homes, including SHM Architects, so a new interior respects what the house already is rather than competing with it.

Clients in Highland Park tend to have a clear sense of their home's history and what it deserves going forward. Twig & Trove meets that with the same principal-led attention on every project, creating interiors built to be lived in daily, not simply admired.

Questions We Hear Most Often

What kinds of projects does Twig & Trove Interiors take on in Highland Park?

We design full furnishings projects, full remodels, and new builds, guiding each home from the earliest plans through the final styling. Most are whole homes or several rooms designed together; we generally do not take on single-room projects, since a house reads best when its rooms are conceived as a whole.

Do you work with my architect and builder?

Yes. We often join a project while the plans are still being drawn, then coordinate with the architect and builder through construction so that finishes, millwork, lighting, and furnishings are resolved together rather than one at a time.

How many projects do you take on at once?

No more than three large-scale projects at a time. The limit is deliberate; it allows every home to receive principal-led attention from Kimberly Knight, Principal Designer, from the first conversation forward.

Which Dallas neighborhoods do you serve?

Highland Park and University Park, along with Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Lakewood, and homes throughout Dallas. We also accept projects nationally and have completed work in seven states.

What does the design process look like?

Each project follows a clear sequence: design development, client approval, procurement, and installation with full styling, culminating in the reveal of the finished home. You always know where your project stands and what comes next. Our full process walks through each phase in detail.

When do we discuss the investment?

In our very first conversation. We talk through your priorities and align the investment with them before any design work begins, so every decision that follows rests on a shared understanding.

Currently accepting a limited number of new projects in Highland Park and the surrounding Park Cities.
